Martina Franchini awarded the Best Poster Prize

Martina Franchini, researcher from Marie Schaer and Stephan Eliez’s group, was honored by the Swiss Society of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of Children and Adolescents during its Annual Congress.

Martina Franchini received the Prize from the Swiss Society of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents (SSPPEA) for the best poster on child and adolescent psychiatry at the Annual Congress of the SSPPEA, held in Basel on June 12 and 13, 2014. She was awarded a cash prize of 800 Swiss francs.

Within the NCCR Synapsy, Martina Franchini works for the autism project led by Marie Schaer and Stephan Eliez. Her work focuses on the early development of children with autism. The poster presented at the Congress of the SSPEA addressed the following question: “Can eye tracking be a reliable tool to support the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders in toddlers and children?”
