Christian Lüscher becomes a member of the SAMS

Professor Christian Lüscher from the University of Geneva (UNIGE) and a NCCR Synapsy member joins the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences (SAMS)
The senate of the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences has appointed Professor Lüscher as individual member of the Academy. Professor Lüscher is a member of NCCR Synapsy and of the Department of Fundamental Neuroscience at the University of Geneva.
Project leader within Synapsy, Christian Lüscher conducts research on the addiction mechanisms in the framework of a project entitled “Mood Disorders”.
This honorary distinction from the SAMS recognises Christian Lüscher’s “outstanding scientific research contribution to medicine”. An official ceremony to present the award will be 19 November 2015.
