Workshop “Gender Equity in Science”

The NCCR Chemical Biology organizes the 1st edition of the workshop “Gender Equity in Science” to:
· help future lab leaders develop gender & diversity competencies necessary for leadership
· raise awareness about gender and diversity issues
· propose actions and measures towards gender equity in science.
The workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Hilde Janssens, developmental biologist by training, with a career as an academic researcher for 19 years in many countries. Throughout her scientific career, she has gained long-standing experience as a trainer and mentor in the fields of interpersonal communication and (self-) leadership exclusively for scientists.
This workshop is supported by the NCCR Synapsy, PlanetS & TransCure.

Format: highly interactive and practical workshop, small group work
